WBRZ
This is the same practice in which the owner and billing supervisor pled guilty to a $4.4 million fraud scheme.
WAFB
This practice also had a physician's assistant arrested in the last year for prescribing controlled substances to people who were not even patients of the practice.
WBRZ
Additionally, the other owner of the practice pled guilty last year for conspiracy to receive illegal healthcare kickback payments.
Business Report
In closing, it's a little weird that this dude was found dead in the parking lot of a medical practice that cannot stay out of the news.

BATON ROUGE - A person was found dead outside a business on Bluebonnet Boulevard Thursday morning.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office confirmed the discovery around 11 a.m. outside the Louisiana Spine & Sports Medicine offices, near the intersection of Bluebonnet and Jefferson Highway.
The sheriff's office says the body appeared to have been there for days, and there was no immediate sign of foul play.

Meh. I found a dead body once in a parking lot in Lafayette.
People gotta die someplace.

Whew, I just had spine surgery a few weeks ago. Narrowly escaped....could have been me.

Was at the doctor across the street this AM and saw multiple EBRSO deputies stringing up crime scene tape. Wondering what happened there. Guess that explains it.

Does this mean StG is finally on the board?

Not unless he was shot/stabbed and I would hope that deputies would know what a gunshot victim looks like.
I guess it's possible that he was poisoned, but Baton Rouge criminals aren't that smart.

This IS in St. George... but my money is on suicide until proven otherwise.

Willing to bet this body has absolute nothing to do with the sketchy business being sketchy
Guessing an overdose

This is the ultimate question
I've seen quite a few safety men massage a recordable incident to save that TRIR

My first thought: The mayor is moving the dead bodies over city lines to fudge the numbers a little.

It doesn’t count if you’re the one who put the body there in the first olace.

Probably an opiate overdose

Yeps. those parking lots are good duckoffs for someone who may have started ODing in a car and someone pushed them out and took off.
Unless they went back there to pass out while walking down Bluebonnet and OD'd in sleep.
