Yeah...I'm ignorant because I believed the original account that was reported in the news which stated that they were trying to serve a warrant on the guy and he ran and I wasn't told any different until today in this thread. How was I supposed to know that the original report was false? Once I was informed that the original report was false, I conceded that my original comment was based on incorrect information.

Dude who went on a car chase with police with his 6 year old in the back is responsible for the death, not police who likely were following protocol.

Read the whole thread. This had nothing to do with police training or tactics. The "cops" may as well have been in civilian clothes. This was a personal issue, not a police issue. They tried to hide behind a badge and deserve their punishment that is coming.

There is no need to back them, they are in the wrong. In fact I think the last officer to pull up to the scene with his bodycam should be held responsible too. He started firing immediately after getting out of his cruiser. It took over 7 minutes for them to check to see if that child had a pulse, they should all be held accountable.

That's not completely true. The head of the Marksville Marshals isn't even certified to be an LEO. Under him the marshals turned into his own fiefdom, where they pretty much don't answer to anyone.
