Follow him to the house....and then what? He was going to invite them in for a glass of tea and then willfully submit to being arrested? Oh that’s a great idea!

Or....Let’s let him go to his house, let him get a gun and have a probable hostage situation.

Well that settles that.

If I had done what that guy did with a Memphis cop (regardless of the officer’s race) I’d be dead as Pastrami with no one to blame but myself. My wife and family would be devastated but also understand that it was a justified killing. It’s referred to as taking accountability for one’s actions.

You’re misunderstanding. Joe was saying they would literally become Predators like in Nimrod Antal’s movie ‘Predators.’ They’ll begin kidnapping Americans and taking them to other planets and hunting them. Big Danny Trejo fan, that Joe Biden.

We can't have that for a specific group (Progressives) in the new America.

my son or brother would have allowed themselves to be cuffed, took that lonely ride in the squad car and called me or my dad at 3am embarrased and ready to face the repercussions from their actions.

That is waaaay too much personal responsibility for the average idiot to process

I would then point out that none if these people are fit to be cops if they're unable to think clearly enough to not shoot an unarmed man in the back in that situation.

This person has obviously no idea of Georgia law or what actually went down.

You harp on one fact in a situation of many facts and refuse to look at the big picture.

That and it takes you days to respond.
It takes you days to make very narrow minded responses.
fricking days.

The majority of black voters are clustered in states that will go democratic regardless. Whether Joe gets 0 or 100% of the black vote will have no effect on the number of electoral votes Trump receives.

Are people still saying this?

Pretty ridiculous. Had he not stolen a police weapon then yeah he would have been unarmed and not shot.

Those police put up with a lot of shite in this entire ordeal, but pointing their weapon back at them was the final straw.

He was not unarmed, period. People need to give that up.

You never know his intentions, but pointing a weapon at their heads is asking for it.

100% think cops need more and better training, but if you are literally in a street fight (started by the suspect) and he starts running away then turns his body and aim a gun-like object in your direction, most anyone would shoot. Had the suspect not escalated the situation to a physical altercation, stolen the taser then tried to turn and use it on the officer, he would have never been shot.
I'm not saying that most anyone wouldn't do it. I'm just saying it would be wrong. That goes double for a cop who has recieved training and is expected to be a professional and not murder people.

Lol... I don't live here unlike some of you. Initially I even forgot this thread existed. I certainly don't anxiously await what you people reply. Mostly I am bemused at the level of ignorance combined with arrogance.

Also, that one fact is a pretty important fact that invalidates all the other BS people type to obscure what is important.

With a non-lethal weapon like a nightstick or pepper spray. Responding by shooting them in the back is an excessive use of force. I know you feel like arguing semantics wins you some kind of point mentally, but in reality it just makes you look petty and ignorant.

Tasers are considered “less than lethal” not non lethal since you can be killed/severely injured if used improperly...ie shooting someone in the face.

Also, didn’t the Atlanta DA fire several cops for pointing a taser at students because he said GA law classifies tasers as lethal?

Well can’t help that he shot over his shoulder instead of turning around and squaring up to the cop.

Well, it wasn't either of those. It was a Taser. Once again, just a few weeks prior, the Fulton county DA charged a couple cops with assault with a deadly weapon for using Tasers on some protesters. Not to mention he turned and fired the damn thing at the officer. So, can't have it both ways. Either it is or it isn't deadly. And very recent precedent was set claiming they are by the same person bring the charges.

I'm really not sure why you're so caught up on him running. I can shoot someone behind me if I'm involved in a foot chase.

These are people who are either trolling, or they have convinced themselves that something happened a certain way even though it was caught on video from multiple angles. For whatever reason, they are so emotionally invested in what they wish happened that they can not see what actually happened. Every one of them in this thread have been the same. Only one of them has admitted they were wrong.

They have said he was only sleeping in his car, he had a taser that wouldn't even fire, he didn't try to fire the taser, the taser didn't fire, some even said the guy didn't even point the taser at the officers.

They watch the videos and see only what they want to see. That is, if they even watch the videos at all. A couple in this thread didn't even watch the videos before they started spouting off talking points they read on some bullshite article. It really is just sad.
