The people he made such an impact on and impressed with his "talent" must be pretty boring...don't see the big deal here

He was found in bed with the lights off after his family called for a welfare check.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, the deputy notes this staffer knocked on Bob's door multiple times before going in around 4 PM ET ... only to find all the lights off. Upon entering the bedroom, they found Bob lying face-up on the bed, with his left arm across his chest and right on the bed.

He was a spastic comic. Coke prob did a number on his organs.
Or maybe he just died of old age.

I saw his standup when he was first doing it maybe around 06-08 or something like that

Saget worked as a stand-up comic in the early 1980s

Exactly. He hadn't done anything in a long time. He was just starting to tour again.
"Half Baked" was 1998.
I first became aware of just how dirty his standup was after seeing him* in "The Aristocrats" in 2005, and remember going home and using this brand new site called
quote:to watch as much of his material as I could find, and there was plenty between there and limewire.
"YouTube"
I think his only break from standup and the dirty stuff was 90-95 for "Full House", and I'm not even sure about then.
*Similar for others in it, but especially Paul Reiser, Teller and Fred Willard. Watching that movie in the theatre was the most surprising and enjoyable cinema experience I can remember, by a long shot.

The article I read had an addendum that said "If you or someone you know is considering suicide, please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1800-273-TALK (8255), text "help" to the Crisis Text Line at 741-741 or go to suicidepreventionlifeline.org."
That seems like an odd thing to put in someone's death article if there is no evidence of suicide.
Or an editor dumped it in inappropriately

Dang. Sounds like he just went in his sleep. May have been an unexpected heart attack.

Agreed.
I got to see a sneak preview of The Aristocrats before it came out, and afterwards there was a Q & A with the directors.. i am not gonna say that it’s the funniest movie ive ever seen in my life, but I will say that i dont think ive ever laughed as hard, for as long, in a movie theater as i did that day…. In addition to the ones you mentioned, i remember Sarah Silverman and Gilbert Gottfried also having great renditions of the joke .. and the running gags about Gallagher and Carrot Top were epic.

Also just received his COVID shot booster within the last few weeks. Surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet....

Apparently today is Bob’s funeral. Tweet from Stamos, who for all practical purposes was basically Bob’s brother:
quote:
Today will be the hardest day of my life. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.

I always tweet my prayers @God. It’s like CC’ing everyone at the company to get one guy to do something for you…

The Betty White reference was relatively good Borscht-ish humor here:
