i dont think its 100 percent he wins after seeing the video
Was he treated differently than other officers? Has any other officer ever used profanity and not been fired? Any other officers ever drawn their weapons in similar circumstances and not been fired? If they decided to single him out because of the political aspect of this case, why shouldn’t he win?

Just walk away Blaine. Go coach intramurals, brother.

He will win the appeal and win the lawsuit. It’s gonna be comical after it’s all done with

Not saying these are the truthful answers, but they are the easy answers that will shutdown this lawsuit, and good luck to Salamoni's lawyer proving otherwise.

You don’t think that maybe, just maybe, some fellow officers might have some relevant testimony to give on these points?

The thin blue line character witness. Love it.

Or perhaps there might have ever been some dindus that filed complaints at their treatment by less than polite officers that mention some similar behavior that did not result in the firing of the officer in question? Those reports would certainly be relevant and not simply a “thin blue line” creation.

Can't shitty cops be Dindus? They seem to write reports saying they dindu shite all the time.

He is lucky to not be in prison right now. He needs to go away quietly and enjoy his unemployment.

So we think the officers are going all in on “we scream profanity laced threats with guns drawn right out of the gate” to fight a leadership decision to fire him?

If those claims were proven, documented on video, let’s hope action was taken. We want less guys like this, not to discover it’s commonplace.

Salamoni's attorney: "Officer XXXX, is it true that you've cursed at citizens and are still on the police force?"
Officer XXXX: "Yes"
Chief Paul: "Officer XXXX, turn in your badge and gun. You're fired."

This is old news......we’ve moved on to the subdivision that is being named after a slave owner.

He will win his appeal because he was not fired by civil service protocol (not to mention he did nothing wrong by the police protocol either).
His offenses as listed probably warranted a suspension period but not a termination. Was just a Political dept to be paid

Hope he wins the appeal.

Please explain to me where in the protocol it states that while subduing a suspect you put a gun against their head and say "If you move I'm going to fricking shoot you in the head."
Hell LSU just fired their head of HR for having a potty mouth. This guy did it with a gun in his hand.

I hope BR has to pay him a record lawsuit. He was fired for taking out the trash

Lucky to not be in prison? What a fricking joke. The Feds and State looked at it and said he was justified. I think he was wrong in the way he approached it, but he justifiably killed an armed felon illegally possessing a firearm and resisting arrest. Give him his money and wish him the best.
