Driving through scenic NBR this morning and I see several signs for small businesses promoting that they are black owned. Things like lawn services and tax preparers. If I see a sign that doesn’t say “black owned” should I assume it’s owned by people not of color?

If I put up a sign for my food truck is it ok to say “white owned” if I’m using it as a warning to not shop with me?

Should make it easy for racists to decide to use them. And that would be people that do use them or don't use them because of said sign

True story.

Family and I were vacationing up in Northern Arkansas about 6 years or so ago, and we saw an ad for some construction company there. Name of the company was something like "Brown Boys." I kid you not, the tagline underneath was "It's not what you think."

So I'm assuming, NOT black owned?

Sounds like you’re on your way to getting yourself and your business cancelled either way.

True. But one is an earned accomplishment, one is not.

The double standard clown show regarding race on this country is beyond repair.

It’s fricked up best I can put it.
Just happy it hasn’t effected me personally yet

I would never put a "White Owned" sign on my business, but it would be hilarious to see how the backlash plays out in the media if someone did.

Wig shops and used tire businesses love to flaunt that they are black owned. The tax preparation businesses don’t surprise me. Nothing like extorting $300 fees out of the communitah for preparing a simple 1040.

Those are signs are very helpful. I try to avoid those businesses at all cost.

During the race riots this summer some of my GF’s woke friends had us going to black owned restaurants every weekend. Lasted about 2 weekends the service and food was so bad
