The vast majority don't hire an attorney in the first place.
My point is this seems like quite the charade for someone to pull off if they did in fact cheat. It doesn't mean she's innocent/guilty, it just makes me lean towards innocent.

her score was invalid because of "substantial agreement between your answers on one or more scored sections of the test and those of other test-takers," according to Crump and a College Board spokesperson
thats what happens when they use their phones to cheat and get the answers to the test online
or..... its the biggest coincidence in the world that they all just used the same exact words to their answers on the test
but of course they had to pull the race card to defend cheating, no one is ever accountable for their actions, just scream rape or racism to deflect from bad choices

yea bro. If you add black in front of it you automatically assume race will be involved someway or another.

She wants her score released? Then she can take the test again under controlled circumstances and score within a certain tolerance of the score that is being held.
About the only time I’ve ever heard of a score jumping that much legitimately was Cecil Collins. And the reason was that he bombed a previous test by going out the night before and getting plastered, passing out during the test and getting a minimum score as a result.

Why does it matter that she’s black? I don’t believe they’re using the race card on this. I know Crump usually does use the race card, but there was no discrimination because of her ethnicity....
She got caught and she’s just fighting for her name. I hope the board stands by their decision and forces her to retake it in order to prove she wasn’t cheating (newsflash — she won’t do that because she definitely cheated).
There are statical anomalies like this that make it pretty damn obvious if someone cheated.
Her go fund me page should be a red flag to everyone that she’s using this platform to profit as she says she will use the money at her discretion as Crump took this case pro bono.
The money is for college, eh? What college will accept a cheater?

Harvard, if they benefit enough politically from her infamy.
Edit- iPhone word complete sucks. “Her infant”?!?

I read this story yesterday. What I don't get is why they hired a civil rights attorney? Is it racist to hold up scores to check for authenticity?

Just have her re take the test, alone, with supervision.

When I was in high school the principal called me to his office.
He handed me his car keys and a small poster with a name on it. He told me to go to the airport and when flight 123 arrived, pick up the man arriving.

Only reason I believe it is who was telling me this.
One of the team’s starting linemen from that time period is a good friend of mine.
Not that he wouldn’t be fed a line of bullshite by his teammates but that I believe he believes it.

Maybe she could take it a third time and see which of the two previous scores looks like the outlier?
It is being reported that they have asked her to take the test again and that she is refusing to do so!

So isn't the problem that she had very similar answers to others that were taking the test as her at the same time? That was my take from it. Maybe it was a write in answer that really had no correct answer, but her and her stupid friend(s) wrote about the same shite.
If this is true, then when can we find out about the student(s) that helped her cheat?

Never took the SAT, but if it’s like the Act (1-35), you can prep for it and learn tips on how to guess at a much higher percentage. I took a class after getting a 25 the first try and learned exactly what concepts/formatting are on all ACTs. If there is a long paragraph in the question, read the answers first. If you have no idea, choose c. In grammar section, the shortest succinct answer is usually the correct one. Always choose all of the above if it’s a choice and you don’t know. Etc..
Took the test a second time and got a 31. There are tricks to these tests and if you feel confidant going into the test you will probably score better

They didn’t invalidate her score simply because of an increase-it was because she had substantially similar answers to other test takers.
She started a Gofundme page - LINK
She raised a grand total of $96 of the $100,000 goal
Most importantly:
4. How will the funds be transferred to Kamilah Campbell? 100% percent of funds raised through this site will be transferred to Kamilah Campbell, in an account designated by Ms. Campbell. The funds will be managed and spent at her sole discretion. Ms. Campbell will have 100% ownership rights of all funds collected here.

Is it possible for Crump to be involved and not allege race? Does he ever just allege a normal cause of action?
