Well, you're right that you aren't supposed to use deadly force to protect property, I get that.

But if one were standing at or inside his business and some clown decided to break in, how is he to know they aren't coming in to hurt him?

In LA I'd err on the side of caution in protecting ME, not my property.

In those places where guns are a dirty word, I'd not live there to begin with.

I read that if they shoot someone while protecting their store, they’ll be prosecuted for murder

Al Sharpton would be very confused as to what to say in that case.

Liberals on the OT minds explode as they can't understand how posters applaud black people with guns.

Do that in Minnesota and you will go to jail. Yes it's a shite thing but going to jail over my business isn't worth it, that's why you have insurance

I’m not arguing or disputing the facts. That being said, that has to change. If you can’t protect your own property AND the authorities won’t do it, then this shite will continue to get worse and worse. In turn, that insurance you’re talking about will become expensive as hell.

I’m tired of ppl treating theft and destroying property like it isn’t really that big of a deal.

They weren’t protecting property, they are protecting their life in their property.

Complete bullshite. There's a guy sitting in jail right now because he killed a looter.

My baby shouldn’t have to worry about getting shot every time he robs a store

Seriously. I never comprehended someone robbing a store, get away with it, and the first thought people have is "oh they can afford it".

Even if they did, the bigger issue is the fact they were robbed to begin with

The only thing that bothers me about the OP’s video is the implication that being black owned provides protection, as if it would be ok to torch anyone else’s workplace. Remember when this happened in Baltimore? Asian stores were targeted and black stores protected. Racist as hell and didn’t get as much traction as it should have. Surprisingly NPR picked it up.
