What about the people the natives took it from? This ain't fair to them.

A big problem is that all land on reservations is owned in common by the tribal authority. As such, tribal members cannot outright “own” property on the reservation. Because they can’t “own” their plots of land, they can’t qualify for financing on traditional homes built on that land because banks cannot repossess the structures if buyers default. So, the only loans available are for trailers. Thus, most native Americans are forced to live in trailers because there’s no financing available to build houses.

No humans are native to north America. The ancestors of who we called the natives today conquered land just like everyone else who has put claim to this country.

How will the Green community deal with bison farts? They go crazy enough with cattle gas as it is.

Yep, its funny when people choose a specific group of people at a specific period of time and say "they are the bad guys", when everybody has been killing over land since the beginning of time.

This might have changed in recent years. I have driven quite a bit through South Dakota the last 30 years and their living quarters are now single family homes with solar panels on top. They appear to get upgraded about every 5 to 7 years as they tend to deteriorate quite quickly from lack of upkeep. It's quite sad seeing the squalor that we just can't seem to fix. Reminds me of growing up in New Orleans and driving by Fisher Projects every day.
