Tilman also owns Waitr. Well, it's publicly traded, but he owns the largest block of stock.

I think after this is all over there will be plenty of people who will have to reconsider who they work for based on how they were treated during this time.

I think after this they’ll be happy with anything for the foreseeable future

and if they aren't, I'll bet there is a long line of candidates willing to take their job.

Because running a roulette table or bringing food to a table takes talent.

Bingo.

There are tons of people in la-la-land who think shutting down the economy for a month is no biggie.

Halliburton just did the same thing

Theirs is more related to Saudi Arabia and Russia's price war and dumping oil on the market. Major loss of demand from no travel does not help either. Not much drilling going on at $25 a barrel.

Doesn’t matter the reason- my point is people get furloughed all the time from their employers.

This directly conflicts with everything I've been taught about trickle down economics and why we need tax breaks for corporations.

The inherent limitation of pure Capitalism is that it requires morality and virtue. The gap between rich and poor is widening because we, as a society, are severely lacking in those areas.

Case in point.

Billionaires will continue to be billionaires. Poor people will continue to be poor people. But because of the absence of morality/virtue, the middle-class will continue to pay for the greed of others.

Please explain how he is supposed to front 24 million a week at a minimum, explain in detail please where that cash is coming from.

Also while your at it, please explain how a casino and restaurants manage their cash flow and show the math please.

The list of billionaires is not static, and there are thousands of poor people who lift themselves up out of poverty. The middle class isn’t static either. How do you account for that? It has nothing to do with greed or avarice. Rich people lose it all. Entrepreneurs strike it rich. A carpenters daughter becomes a doctor, a janitor’s son goes to the NBA. In America things change.

With more and more people getting sick, no cure thus far, and this being a fairly lethal virus that can spread easily, i'm sure staying in a shutdown will be the smart idea. Doesn't take a billion dollars to understand that.

They all qualify for unemployment / other programs now and will most likely get their jobs back when they open back up.

He’s been paying unemployment on them, why not use it? Isn’t that what all this socialism is supposed to be about?

Much like America, this board has changed over the last few years.

Lots of SJW/socialist types now.

How is it a douche move, its 24m in payroll, wtf you want him to do??

Newflash he doesn't have a billion, prolly not even 25million sitting in his bank account and that is his personal money. The company prolly doesn't either or shouldn't.

No wonder so many of you idiots qualify for the stimulus check, y'all have zero clue how business is run.

Keep thinking because he is a billionaire, he has that money sitting in an account. Keep up the socialist thoughts, makes people like me and some others in this thread much more valuable.
