Saw this question posted on X. It would be interesting to hear the OT thoughts on the subject.

For me, it was the insisting that the virus had to originate from a wet market and not the Wuhan lab.
And the capper was when Johns Hopkins medical center told me it's OK to gather to protest, but not for anything else.

At the beginning we were told that masks didn’t work. Maybe the more expensive ones a little, but you couldn’t really rely on them.

Then, suddenly, everyone must mask up everywhere or we all die.

Other medical experts said the same thing. One of the most bizarre things I’ve ever seen

When they started with the masks and social distancing, but completely stopped talking about handwashing.

It was okay for certain people to wear the mask below their nose…

Fine to go to Walmart but not your gym.

Okay to protest and destroy without practicing social distancing.

Mandatory to vax even though vaccine hadn’t been vetted to standards.

Couldn’t go to your dead friends funeral even when it was outdoors.

That’s enough for now.

When they closed the beaches and parks. Also, when they went all in trying to do contact tracing. Anyone with an IQ above room temperature knew that it was ridiculous and would never work.

When they started calling ivermectin horse paste? Or maybe just when the media/politicians/government started talking in general, I don't really remember the timeline of evertything.

The early videos of people falling out in the streets of China that were posted on here before Covid really became a thing.

You can go to the store to buy groceries, but you can’t buy seeds or anything politicians deem unnecessary. This happened in Michigan and probably elsewhere.

No matter what you thought the first couple of months it was clear the entire thing was bullshite when the “scientists and experts” said Covid doesn’t spread at BLM protests.

I didn't believe anything after the hospital ship was sent to New York City to handle overflowing hospitals and saw like a total of 17 patients.

Edit: I also have a personal story, when I went to the bank on a lunch break a month into the whole thing. I passed by a clinic with a line wrapped around the parking lot, had a news crew there and everything. When I was done at the bank, less than 30min later, and drove by the same clinic, there was literally no one there. I almost rear ended someone staring at the parking lot.

Covid couldn’t get me if I were eating at the table, but could if I were standing up leaving the table.

My favorite one…a guy fairly influential in his community was Told by his MD that if he got symptoms to text ahead, but come around back of the office and the Dr would give him a shot of hydroxy and he’d be good as new in a day or two…
