Oh I have never heard this before. Some guy invented a carb that can get 75 miles to a gallon and it was bought by the big auto makers and is sitting on a shelf somewhere in Detroit. Yeah I guess its possible but this story has been out there since the 70's

4) Repealed any effort to stymie the Chinese
5) Lead the Afghanistan debacle
6) Mandated Covid vaccines which has lead to people losing their jobs.
7) Passed extra stimulus bills (that lots of the money hasn’t been spent) that economist warned would lead to inflation.
8) Now suffering rampant inflation.
9) This entire Ukrainian fiasco is due to bungled foreign policy on their part.
10) Which is causing global uncertainty and potentially creating a way for the petro-dollar to have competition

Yes, out of fuel consumption in vehicles (a product that has never seen the level of supply shortage in the US) and fuel supply, definitely easier to control the former, even though we have already achieved the latter. Enjoy better fuel prices in half a decade, after a new vehicle purchase of course.
