What happens to a Greek alphabet named storm that's severe enough to have its named retired?
What's it replaced with?
Would the letter be skipped? Use some "woke" name?

I’m seeing a Tropical Storm Watch on this map for the area but not seeing any verbiage from the NWS.

Looks like they’re loosely projecting it to make landfall in texas, then hang a hard right turn and skirt the Louisiana coast.

I know this is the Beta thread, but Teddy is going to pull a Sandy at Nova Scotia it looks like.

This the 850 mb winds (so not surface) off the HWRF. The hurricane force winds at this level take up the entire screen.



Widespread impacts from this and a spectacular extratropical transition with it too.
