I have a two yr old, wife “teaches” Pre-K, and had a kiniption (sp??) fit when my parents watched it with him.

I don't know, I don't have kids, but I know one thing.. If I did, I would not allow them to watch anything where the only thing that people do is open up toys or anything that has 0 educational value at all.

For parents I guess if that's what they can get to keep their kids entertained they will put it on but that is one thing I will never understand.

Do not do it. We had to get YouTube off all TVs for them, that’s all they would watch, youngest was 4 and watching Ryan and always crying about toys in the store because Ryan and all those idiot kids were always doing toy episodes

This stuff is the absolute worst.

And not because of the toys, because they cut scenes every three seconds with screaming kids and flashing lights and whatnot

It has to be absolutely terrible for attention spans. Turns kids into zombies.

I agree. Like I stated above, I don't have kids, but some of the shite I saw kids watch is useless. I compare it to stuff that is put in food that has no nutritional value at all.

My 4 year old loves to watch videos of people reading books. (Yes, we read to him all the time. But I think he likes all the different narrators). When he finds one he likes, I buy him the physical book and he flips along with the readers. He is currently "reading" along with The Pout Pout Fish. But basically you can look up any kid's book, and there's likely a reading video to go along with it.

You do know there’s an app called YouTube Kids, right?

It only has kids shows and no ads

There’s probably a channel that shows parents actually paying attention to their 3 year olds so he can at least get to imagine what it’s like

None. Kinds these days are narcissistic tiktok zombies with no original thought, and an inability to develop normally

My kids won’t touch the internet until they are 8 or 9 (inevitably going to have to in school)

He’s really advanced for a 3 year old, so I was hoping that some of you guys with older kids could share some good YouTube channels that I could introduce to him.
One of my older kids (really advanced as well) is a structural engineer who enjoys having YouTube videos of Mandelbrot Fractals put to music on while solving complex issues for work-

I pay for a subscription of go outside and play in the dirt. My kids "watch" it for hours. Best part is no ads.

I hope you are joking because watching anything for hours daily will mess your kid up, especially at that age.
