Anyone have recommendations on a product that really works in bathrooms on mold and where to purchase?

On which surface is the mold?

Also, have you identified where the water is coming from?

No, not bleach. Use vinegar. Bleach does not kill mold.

They make products that kill and prevent mold. Just go buy one. Best to find out where it’s coming from first

Lessons were learned during the great flood of 2016...lots of lessons.

But yeah, you need to be more concerned with why you have mold.

Bleach will not kill mold. I doubt that Tilex will since it is a bleach based product.

I’ve found this to be better than anything. The important part is the “Root Penetrator”.

Wally World carries it.

This is the right answer. I use Zep shower cleaner and hardly have to scrub.

Tilex also makes a good mildew remover.

Boracare is good and keeps mold from growing back. Shockwave kills everything but doesn’t have any residual effect.

Shower curtain in our guest bathroom seems to grow mold/mildew when it gets used a lot. Its really annoying, we bought a nice one that was supposed to prevent that.

Is there a way to prevent this besides spraying it constantly? I am not putting up the $ to renovate that bathroom and put a door on the shower.

My water damage guys used 6% peroxide, said you can get it at beauty supply shops.

Said it works better than anything else and is pretty cheap by the gallon.
