Highland rd lark back at the playground. If you wait until summer there is a splash pad that is awesome.

How about on the levees overlooking the Mississippi. Just stay off the bike path.

It’s a few minutes north of town but the Port Hudson Civil War Battlefield is outstanding.

Nice trails, picnic tables and museum. Learn some local history.

I saw that the other day. LSU went from nearly tearing them down to permanently fencing them off? Looks awful.
