I just got a $560 quote for a trigger job and some night sights on my pistol...not sure a plastic gun is worth the $1500+ I’d have into it. Damn though, it could use a nice trigger.
Got my son's. He put around $2500 aftermarket parts in it. Sweet shooting handgun.

Nice. I know it’d be worth it.

Someone is taking you to the cleaners

It sure seems like a lot...but I trust it will be done right and make a HUGE difference. This company is my second choice, the first is as expensive and is simply not taking on more work.
Reduced reset, internal overtravel stop, refinish all of the fire control bits and Nickel
PTFE coat them, gauging of safety and sear engagement values...
IDK, I don’t trust people to handle my German shite.

If you shot my gun you would complain about the trigger.
HK makes the parts to fix the worst of it, but it’s a tricky install and a couple of companies have improved the actions even more....so much so they are busy to the point of turning customers away.

I’d need the first on the list.
But it’s bullshite?
Just look up Grayguns (Lazy Wolf) P30. I have that same action...and I know it can be improved a shite ton.
YouTube LEM with GG job.

That's because DAO's are hot garbage
Get a striker fired like the rest of the folks in the 21st century

What you looking to unload?

Mine will be better than a striker fired with this...and thanks to strikers I can’t sell this gun for anywhere close to what I paid.
I’m in a pickle, and this will fix it for good.
I don’t NEED the night sights...but why not at this point.

If it was owned by Teddy Roosevelt then I'd be interested in purchasing it myself. I've got twelve of his personal firearms in my trophy room (the one with the ebony paneling, not the one with the teak and the 18th Century groinwork) and I've long aspired to making it a banker's dozen.
Kinda want a 5.7, too.

Since the terrible boating accident where I was bringing all of my guns to the camp, sadly, I have none. The government will protect me from harm.

2300 Plank at Jefferson.
Ground zero for violent crime and it isn’t close.

Go window shopping first at Jims, and also on Gunbroker to see what your particular gun is selling for used.
Gun shops want to flip and make money, so they will lowball you.
Gunbroker... if you price it, you usually have to pay shipping and transfer fees along with winning bid. That's usually another $40-50 on top of the purchase.
So, price it between the gunbroker price, and whatever you see in Jims for that. A buyer would still come out ahead, and you get more money.
Agree to meet and exchange in a public, well-lit place. I've done Walmart parking lots, they have cameras and people around. It's a completely legal action, you just don't want to go down a dark road (or have strangers come to your house).
