It’s amazing how many people are overspending on SUVs and missing out on the benefits of minivans just because of a perceived stigma over minivans.
It makes no sense. I mean, is there anything cool or fun about a Honda Pilot or Toyota Highlander? Nobody is impressed by a SUV and most SUVs are just less-useful and more expensive minivans anyway. Not even truck frames.

Just get an odessey and be done with it.
You can get one in good shape around 30k.
The sienna v6 went away in 2020 or id have gotten another one of them.
There nothing better to haul the kids and all your shite comfortably than a minivan.
Get the ceramic tint for it. You'll thank me

I was unaware you could buy a vehicle for 30k these days

Yep, if I came home with a minivan for my wife things would not be kicking in the bedroom.

Quick browse of auto trader for a full size SUV with a third row under 30k, you're looking at a 7-9 year old vehicle with 70k+ miles on it.

I’m not a rich man by any means but driving a circus made by KIA seems reckless…

Yea i know not ot ballin, but looking to get into a newer (to us) SUV three rows somewhere around 30 grand
if you don't mind it being a rental, you can find some 4runners with third row, now it only has room for two in the way back.
$33,500 but you got to go to north Carolina.

I see so many 30/40 year old moms driving at4 Yukons. It’s wild to me
Don’t get me wrong I drive an older Tahoe that’s paid off and love it but why are soccer moms buying the pricey off road trims? Don’t understand

With 3 kids I bought a minivan when they have to be hauled around (every day). Good luck with your 4x4, 6 ft. tall Tahoe with an engine that's ready to blow up and with 95k miles on it since you only have $30k to spend, but if you have 2 or more kids a used Toyota minivan with the v6 is your answer, whether you like it or not.

Not mentioned and often over looked is the Mazda CX-9 (now the CX-90) You can get a well equipped CX-9 thats a few years old with around 40-50 thousand miles for around 25,000-30,000. Very nice vehicles.

That's dumb. I drive a 2024 Odyssey Sport and absolutely love it. Just got back from a trip to Blue Ridge mountains and it handled everything we threw at it getting to good hiking trails, and averaged almost 28mpg getting there and back. If I didn't bring a 52qt ice chest, I wouldn't have even needed to put the third row down to bring all our stuff too.
Unless you need to tow something substantial regularly, which almost no one does, a minivan is the best vehicle for a family.

IMO the best/nicest 20/21 3 row for ~30k is the Acura MDX. While it is not a cavernous 3 row it isn't tiny either. Acura doesn't have the residual premium over Honda like Lexus has over Toyota and you can often get a lot more amenities by buying a similar Acura (in this case an MDX) over a Honda (Pilot) with very little price difference.
My daughter bought a 2016 MDX last year as her first adult purchase. That thing is very nice.

We don't have kids, but we did have parents well into their 80's.
We needed something to haul them around when we visited weekly, and occasional towing the Moto Guzzi to out of state rallies.
Bit the bullet and bought a Certified '09 Odyssey Touring in 2012 for $28K with 30K miles on it.
Pretty high tech for back in the day.
Still have it today at 120K miles.
No problems except for the shitty EPA mandated paint job is toast.

I like the Pathfinder better than the Highlander in that price range

Grand Cherokee L can be had for $26-30k with low mileage and great features. It's about as good of bang for buck as you can hope for these days
