You may not be eligible to get it, but USAA has been great.

i must have had the worst agent on the planet. I asked to cover my boat and my wife's ring and never hear back from him after numerous attempts. my policy doubled after two years and zero claims. I moved on since.

Go to an insurance broker and let them shop from multiple insurance companies and find the lowest price for you.

I have Hanover and they’ve been great. About 8 years ago, my house was struck by lightning. I filed a claim and less than a week later the adjuster had been out, submitted his report and the claim had been approved. Have had the same response with my roof. I have them for auto as well. I had a crappy adjuster after a fender bender but I pulled a Karen and two days later the check was fed/ex’d to me. Been with them for 10 years.

I got 3 quotes for $2200 + from State Farm, USAA, and Allstate.

I called SageSure and they came in at $1500. Less coverage but it still covers the basics and its actually better deductibles than State Farm.

Because when disaster hits, the basics is what you're looking for.

I can't complain about Allstate, I must have had their best adjuster. From claim to payment for a new roof, I only waited 3 weeks maybe. The new roof goes on this week.

check out goosehead insurance. they're independent and shop over 30 carriers to find cheapest options. Find an agent in your area at goosehead.com

captive insurance agencies like SF, allstate, farmers, farm bureau, etc. almost always have shitty rates. go independent

Yep, every state has different offerings

In Alabama I'd say Cincy and Auto-Owners top two followed closely by USAA and ALFA

I have only been with Progressive since November and Ida whacks me with a $125K loss. I changed from Safeco because the car insurance premiums went out of sight (my wife tends to hit stuff). So far we are about 40% through the repair and Progressive has been very helpful and reasonable. No complaints so far.
