How is the Andy Warhol sketch valued more than the declaration of independence?

I got a really nice handmade bamboo fly rod. 3 wt. It was 5 dollars at an estate sale. Apparently 20 mins before I showed up the old lady sold all her husband guns in a bulk deal for 100 bucks. Some guy made out like a bandit with 16 hand guns rifles and shotguns.

Once, I was cleaning out my garage of junk to donate to some group garage sale and I found my OLD Craftsman socket set from back in the 80's when they still made good shite. I thought it had been stolen. So, that was a good find.

Coolest was a pair of vintage Infinity speakers for $10. They were dusty as hell and owner had no idea if they still worked. I cleaned them up and they worked perfectly and have been in my basement since.

Bought a bunch of great records at garage sales before vinyl really got popular 10 or so years ago.

Bought a Cub Cadet riding mower from the early 80's at an estate sale a few years ago for $50. Had to put about $200 into it to get it running though.

Bought a Metallica record for less than a quarter and sold it on ebay for about $300.

Just dumb luck though, I bought the whole box of records planning on keeping the few I wanted and selling the rest.

Not garage sales but practically every hobby I've been in I'll dabble in buying/selling parts and stuff like that.

Some of the highlights.

Bought a Harley Davidson OEM springer front end for $300, sold it for $1100.

Bought six Shimano fishing reels that MSRPed at $600 each on sale at Academy for $99 each, sold them all on eBay for around $2000 total.

Bought a broke down ATV for $300 with the intention of fixing/reselling, it was further gone than I hoped, pieced it out for like $1200.

Bought another broke down ATV for $200 and it too was further gone than I expected. I picked it up, stopped at a carwash on the way home, cleaned it, and relisted it as a project and sold it an hour later for $600.

Bought a lab top. Idiot that sold it to me forgot to wipe all the files off. Had child porn on it. Got him arrested.

Ended up being the wife that put it for sale going through a divorce.
