I've been to the one in New Orleans, enjoyed it very much. Will be going to a few in Virginia soon, and might make a trip to the National Civil War museum in Pennsylvania. What's your take?

Better get to them quick before they’re erased.

I'll be visiting in a few months. I plan on seeing quite a few Confederate monuments in Virginia. Hoping they are still there.

Why should they be endangered? Do any of them have the south winning?

BLM just burned them all down. Sorry you're too late.

The Battle of Minneapolis and the Siege of Seattle might be good ones some day.

Pamplin in Petersburg is worth a stop if not already on your list.

Why should the statue of US Grant be pulled down on Juneteenth? You know, the guy that actually defeated the Confederacy?

Because it was never about the Confederacy, or Slavery, or anything else. It was the start of one long chain of destroying EVERYTING of the West, and replacing it with whatever the hell thing they think they're going to do.

The Museum of the Confederacy in Richmond was really good. I haven’t been back since they changed the name but I’d assume that it would still be good, but probably a bit more PC.

This. I've actually read stories where the Cancel Culture wants to remove Confederate monuments and statues from Civil War battlefields as well. Sickening...

Port Hudson is close if you're in Baton Rouge.

Locally, I would suggest the Jefferson Davis Presidential Library at Beauvoir in Biloxi. The last time I was there, it was a year before Katrina. It was damaged in the storm but from what I’ve read the museum cane back better than ever.

There’s a really good museum at Camp Moore just south of Kentwood which also has a confederate cemetery.
