They have it as a Cat 1 going across Yucatan Rapidly loses strength after going south of Cuba.
Yea and a day ago they only had it getting to a cat 3 and falling apart south of Jamaica
Now it’s getting to borderline cat 5 and going to be cat 3 in Caribbean

Stormy Daniels butthole
Anyway, I'm thinking Mid Texas coastline landfall after it reaches the Gulf. East side as it moves north or north west could give Louisiana a little rain

If not, slow down and be pulled North and then East. Doesn't seem like its a straight hit into Texas.
If I recall they said all hurricanes want to move north. Pressure systems keep it lateral.
Where a break in a ridge is is what let's it move northward.
If it moves fast enough it'll go into Mexico. If it slows down it has a higher chance to go vertical.
If I'm wrong someone correct me.

I simply can’t even imagine a 34’ wave. Good grief man.

This is a remarkable hurricane. That it’s made it to Category 4 strength while still east of the Lesser Antilles in June is just wild.

Also, Hurricane Beryl is now the earliest Category 4 hurricane on record in the Atlantic Basin. It takes the record from 2005’s Hurricane Dennis, which became a Category 4 hurricane on July 8, 2005.
