But if you have a named storm deductible of 2-5% you are probably paying for that fence out of pocket.

That’s where they messed up on this one. Hire a good lawyer, Beryl isn’t a name.

Fox is the ghetto station in Houston

I had it on the other night and their intro was “Hurricane Beryl is moving to the right!”

Ugh…. You mean shifting east?

I like the redhead meteorologist on KPRC but she looks like she'll bite your dick off with those teeth and eyes

Where to check Houston power outages? Specifically SW freeway area between 610 and Beltway.

TIA

But don’t some companies not require meeting/paying a second deductible in a year? Seems that was talked about for other storms.

Pearland has gotten 5” since midnight, so a little over 6” total from my gauge.

Wind gusts have peaked at 47, sustained at 21 right now. Power went out around 4:45.

Where are the people noting the power outages getting the info?

CenterPoint wasn’t updating and PowerOutage.Us has had an issue bc it shows CenterPoint having literally 0 outages.

Earlier in the morning, it was at 250K CenterPoint and 310K for Texas or something along those lines. That seemed believable for 90 minutes ago, and I don’t doubt the current numbers.

Just wondering where you guys are seeing it.

Homeowners deductibles are per claim. But in Florida and Louisiana it’s one hurricane/named storm deductible per year. I don’t think Texas has that in their policies.

Still have power in north Katy. Shocked by that. Grid has been shaky since that big storm back in May when I lost power for 4 days.

Still some time before the eye gets here.

Same. No xfinity internet/tv though. Enjoy the coffee while it’s hot.
