I’m hearing all kinds of groans and pops. The grid is not happy.

How does anyone watch local news? Turned it on and holy shite, thought the OT were doom and gloom wish casters.

Chita was on earlier talking to someone in Galveston… trees were blowing, but nothing crazy and she said “oh my, those palms are sideways”

Y'all think I can make it into the Westchase area?

I have to go too at 9:30. Any work on power on Rogerdale near Bellaire? That area is likely to be flooded.

They sound like a coach “beryl didn’t lose the battle with dry and sheer, just ran out of time”

Like Don Henley said

She can tell you 'bout the plane crash with a gleam in her eye

At least your insurance company can’t nickel and dime you on depreciation. It was a new fence.
Yeah. But if you have a named storm deductible of 2-5% you are probably paying for that fence out of pocket.

I just watched the babe on KHOU talk about how special the eye of the storm is, and I was like okay is she teaching a Kindergarten class or giving me the weather.

Then I flipped it to Fox 26 and it was another hen party. One of them was out in the field talking about how she was losing her balance in the wind. The other 2 hens were in the studio talking with bated breath as though they were concerned about her.
