No reason to have kids if you don’t want them. I wouldnt want to have them when I’m older though, so if you do want them no time like the present.

People did the same shite to me. Of course I love my kids but they're a lot of work. I think other people just do that shite because they're trying to convince themselves that they didn't frick their lives up. They'll ruin yours too. Don't do it bro.

What a rosy outlook. We’re having number 3 tomorrow. Pretty pumped. To the OP you’ll never be truly ready and my words were essentially yours verbatim 6 years ago. The freedom was awesome, and kids are awesome. It’s just different.

I've got a 15 year old brother (I'm 32 - dad fricks)... that kid is going to give me a heart attack. I can't imagine having a teenager.

He and his friend wrecked a car the other night off-roading (in a mazda 6) and snapchatted it giggling... they honestly thought it was hilarious. I wanted to beat his arse.

Does any couple ever go home afterwards and "You know, something....I hadn't even thought about it, but I ABSOLUTELY love Aunt Deb's idea of having a kid. What do you say honey??"

I'd guess your wife actually does want kids, just doesn't want to have them with a husband who's made it clear to everyone, even at Christmas, that he doesn't want to have kids with her.

We are stopping at #2.

We get grief because everyone else in our family has 3.

My point is that it doesn’t stop when you have a kid, so don’t let this type of stuff bother you.

Yeah he does have to watch that. Eventually she'll run off with Chad and take half his shite with her. Start popping them out left n right.

Barren women... can't live with them, can't carry on a lineage with them. Or something like that.

On the surface it doesn't bother me. It's as generic as "how bout that weather" small talk for us. The part that bothers me is the reaction when we say we don't want kids. It's like I just took a shite right where we stand.

Why is it so appalling?

Im guessing like > 90% of people have kids... So you are the outlier. It's like you are walking around with purple hair.
