re: Being casually naked in front of your own toddlers

You said walking around the house naked. Yes that’s fricking weird to do with kids around.

Obviously they will see you getting out the shower and getting dressed. But you shouldn’t be trouncing through the living room hanging dong and your berries bouncing around.

Culture must have changed in the last couple decades. When I grew up, you had to get over the fear of being naked if you were playing sports or living in male dorms. I don’t go out of my way, but I don’t also don’t worry about it with my boys, as it’s not something that should bother hetero males, imo. Girls or homos is a different story.

However, my 90-year-old grandfather was bedridden and had to be bathed by my mom and aunt, in addition to having his diaper changed regularly by them. This is a possibility for any parent who gets too old to take care of themselves.

They will let you know. I would get in the shower and every damn time I turned around, there would be my daughter in the shower with me. I would worry, talk to my wife. She would laugh and tell me not to worry, my daughter would let me know. She was right, one day it just stopped. She had to have her privacy., she was in the 3-5 age range.

I guess you could ask your kid if the sight of your penis makes her uncomfortable. It's probably weird if it has gotten to that point, and if you have to ask the question then you probably already know the answer.

My three year old happened to walk into our bedroom one evening when I stepped out of the shower. She pointed at me and said "daddy your bottom is hairy and gross". Body shaming little a-hole.
