Beating a dead horse - Why do people like iPhones so much

I have an iPhone for work and I want to run over it repeatedly with a steamroller. I also carry a personal Samsung Galaxy J7 and the J7 is simply a better device despite being a middle of the road android model. Why do people have a love affair with the Apple products?

Iphone is a much better device.

Had iPhone up to the 4 then went android for 7 years and went back to iPhone 2 weeks ago. The X is the tits.

Iphone is a good phone, but the battery and durability both suck compared to the Galaxy S series.

Stupid iPhones can't even run more than one timer at a time. I only have mine because it was free.
It's not terrible after coming from a Windows Phone. (Best Mobile OS and UI just no apps). But everything I like about it compared to my old phone is the same for Android. My HTC One Windows Phone was faster than the current 7s I have.
