They updated their Net Neutrality Pledge.

As someone who has Comcast, I don't believe this shite for a second.
They'll look to go in hard and dry any chance they get.

So you think it's a coincidence that they removed "Comcast doesn't prioritize Internet traffic or create paid fast lanes"?
What happened to you? I swear I remember you having at least average level intelligence at one point.

I agree but if you believe that there will not be an "adjustment" in the bill due to NN that's being a bit naive IMO. Truthfully they would have added an "Adjustment" either way it went.... Slimy Sons a Bitches!!

Porn tubes will go away and we'll have to use our imagination again.

Did they do this before 2015? This law hasn't been around that long.

You have to pay for higher-tier internet just to get some semblance of reliability out of Comcast internet anyway, Net Neutrality or not.

I just spent 30 minutes yelling at Spectrum customer service and threatening to cancel. They don’t believe me because the only other option is fricking Comcast.
I hate cable companies.
“Canceling cable will raise the price of your internet from $20 per month to $70 per month. That was the bundled price. However, if you buy $80 worth of channels you won’t use, we will provide you with a large discount on your internet. We don’t provide cheaper internet options.”
Gee. Thanks. Your mother’s a whore.

Who really uses the internet anymore? Besides perverts and drug users.

The FTC enforced throttling until the courts ruled in 2014, based on a 2010 case, that the FTC doesn't have the authority to regulate non-common carrier services (ISPs) for common carriers (like ATT and Verizon). It's because of that ruling that ISPs were labelled common carriers and put under FCC jurisdiction.
It's something that Pai repeatedly leaves out of his talking points for some reason.
It's been appealed and the FTCs authority is up for debate still. So there's a real possibility that it can't be enforced the way it was before 2015.

“For some reason”
Dude used to be an M&A attorney in the industry and general counsel for Verizon. I’m sure someone will have a nice 7 figure “consulting” gig ready for him once his time as FCC chairman is done.
By “consulting”, I mean that Pai will advise them on where to send his checks.

....and? I mean they are providing a service that you are purchasing at a significant discount monthly. Like buying two for the price of one. You are presenting an option where the following month you will not buy two at the price of one. That does not mean you get to buy just one for half price.
