At my farm house in Oklahoma, my only option for internet was Dish Network because of being in the country and trees blocking line of sight. That stuff was $60 a month for crappy speeds 10 gigs max a month. It was criminal.

I keep seeing a lot of people bitching about Comcast but I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them in Mobile. Sure it’s not blazing fast but 100mbps is more than I need and my bundle with an x1 is <$130 a month.

These cable companies have been salivating and waiting for this.
I am pro Trump but he got this one wrong.
There will be a "streaming tier" and a "gaming tier".
Next, there will be "high speed packages" for sites like youtube and hulu and netflix.
They have been losing money with cord cutters and they are about to make that back up since the data is the essential commodity and now they can package that however they want.
Imagine if the electric company charged you a higher rate in the summer? Or if there were a surcharge to use your air conditioner?
I'm all for less government but the regulation of Utilities works. Think of what you pay for electricity now and 20 years ago. Now think of what you pay for basic cable now and 20 years ago.
