Is the styling, performance, and prestige worth the maintenance headaches and costly repairs?

Thinking of going Audi for my next car.

I drove a Volkswagen once.

I wouldn’t allow juice in it.

To me this depends on where you live. My roommate when I was getting my masters in ruston had an audi and had to take it all the way to Shreveport just to get the oil changed. It's a pain in the arse to be an hour or more away from any service center. If you are in a city the maintenance shouldnt really be an issue

Subtle brag about having a driver’s license.

Supposedly the maintenance deals they come with are worth it now, but I wouldn't be caught dead driving around in one. Gimme a Toyota that'll last for 20 years

Until taking mine in for issues 2 days ago, I would have said yes. Now, I say it's only worth it while the warranty is in place.

Buying outright? Not worth it.

Leasing? Not a poor choice if you can afford it.

I had the A6 for two years before going to the Lexus 460L. The 460 was amazing. Neither had any maintenance issues.

I now buy and drive used japanese 4x4s exclusively

After spending too much on vehicles for too long, I stopped.

ETA: the depreciation is biblical

Wife drives a BMW, best driving car I’ve owned. Maintenance is a pain in the a-hole and is making me consider a Toyota or Lexus for her next vehicle.

Test drive the RS3 or the new RS 5 Sportback if the dealership has any in stock.
