You are just primed to grow government the first time a politician tells you they can make these bad people go away if you just vote this way or give them just a little more money.

A little trivia. From his first day in office, he personally goes to every homicide crime scene. Regardless of day of the week or time
He must be busy constantly with how many homicides these days.

I know Baton Rouge is home to a lot of yall, it was for me too, but the excuses and things you try to rationalize and normalize to stay living there is insane.
It is worse today than it was last year and today is the best it will be moving forward.
The leadership on every level is corrupt and compromised and the amount of culture continues to grow, expand and tear down areas.
The best day you’ll ever have is the day you realize you can leave, you can have sausage and seasoning overnight shipped and cook for your new neighbors who will love you.
Amazingly the only thing that doesn’t really translate other places is the Greek food somehow.

Louisiana is known for our Greek food?

Baton Rouge has great Greek apparently

South Louisiana has a fair amount of Lebanese people, who open “Greek and Lebanese” restaurants, though they are really just Lebanese. For example, the only real Greek restaurant I’m aware of in Baton Rouge is Zorba’s.
But with that said, yeah, South Louisiana has way more Greek/Lebanese food than one would think.

you're reprehensible and stupid to boot. I'm as far right as they come. You're the one coming off as a flamingo liberal defending the murder and attempted murder rate clearly spreading out of the hood.
You're typically hyper-histrionic but you're in overdrive ITT, even for you.
So, you're ok with a 17-year-old being slaughtered for having the nerve to eat at the Mall of Louisiana food court, too?
You have no problem with the hood encroaching on the rest of Baton Rouge, too?

You sat on your hands through Broome and you will now blame the guy who got the bill.

Literally no one is ok with this. Again, you sound like a liberal after a school shooting, setting up strawmen to knock down.

Again, no one is ok with this. The point of disagreement is whether it’s actually happening to the extent you claim it is.

Here you go you blithering morons. Yesterday. That's two in two days in a now. But it doesn't count either cause they obviusly need to go to the range and learn to shoot better, right?

I actually should have included this because I think that is the actual difference and why the “Greek” restaurants in Houston for example seem different is bc it’s lacking the Lebanese influence.

EBR taxpayers pay more than enough taxes.
There are two big problems.
The first problem is too much of our taxes go to a great library system, a great park system, a great COA, and sidewalks and bike paths; but not enough to law and order. The police and the DA.
Second/ much of the parish leadership doesn’t back law and order. They don’t support the cops and they coddle the thugs and bad guys.
Until we redistribute the taxes and until a large faction in this parish commits to law and order we will continue to see these murders continue at a high rate.
Sid is one man, and he can’t do it by himself. Too many oppose a law and order mayor. Until residents of this parish call out the leaders in the community that light candles but do nothing to destroy these gangsEBR will be like the Wild West.

You said there were murders in affluent white areas in Baton Rouge. I said that was news to me and asked you to give examples. You then proceeded to fail in giving any recent examples, which is probably why you seem really, really emotional about all of this. But regardless, again, if we were actually having routine murders like we just had at the mall, we would be having a very different conversation. But in spite of your assertions to the contrary, we aren’t. And no, even if there had been a cold body from that shooting, a shooting downtown above Florida Blvd at 2:40am is hardly evidence of the sky falling, no matter how badly you want it to be

Guess The Mayor/ the Governor/ and the AG need to get off their asses and help fund a solution

But I was only told about it since it was on Facebook and I don’t have that
And I don’t think anyone was killed.

I gave you several examples, asshat.
You don't think there are people lingering on Third Street by Shitz and Giggles after 2 a.m.? Are you that clueless?
The fact that you don't give a shite that violent crime is creeping out of the Hood into the rest of the city says all we need to know about you.
