The DOTD guys could've easily pushed her car to the dry part. Instead, they just opened the doors and let the water pour in

Good. She deserved it. Hope she doesn't get a good insurance payout for her stupidity.

Without fail. Highland and Kenilworth, every time there has been a bmw or Mercedes flooded out. Mercedes for the win today. Watched a few people to lazy to back up drive through someone’s front yard to turn around. Now that’s a special kind of ahole!

I heard last night that the rain/storms this morning are supposed to break up right before getting to BR. Looking at the radar it doesn’t appear to be the case.

Yesterday was awful, tried to go from Government/Jefferson to Drusilla.. Jefferson was backed up so I tried to cut through some neighborhood to come out on Old Hammond, flooded. Go around several blocks, come out at Lobdell, make it Government, take a right and the right lane of Government has water almost the whole way. Try to cut through Tara to Old Hammond.. flooded. Turn around and just decide to take Government -> Airline -> Old Hammond -> Drusilla. My neighborhood (Westminster) flash floods like a mofo too so I had to navigate around that also. Took me an hour to get home from Jefferson/Government

Today gonna be even worse?

Looks like little heavier rain moving into Baton Rouge soon. I'm guessing rain may be heavier and more widespread heavier rain once the sun comes up
