On Patrol Live is definitely not the same as Live PD. They dumbed it down, Sticks isn't on every time, Tom Morris was more interesting than Curtis Wilson. Don't particularly dislike Tom, but I did like Sticks and Tom. But Live PD originally had some REAL action very routinely. Now you get a lot of trailer trash doing trailer trash things, but not a lot of live action.

They’ll actively cut away from intense situations. Some guy got stabbed in the face 2 weeks ago and was actively dying. They apologized to the audience and said they wouldn’t be continuing that coverage.

The trailer trash stuff still scares the hell out of me. I’d much prefer a Livingston Parish OPL after listening to Woody Overton’s stories.

I said it before and will say it again. There is ZERO value for the city in doing this. What fricking retard approved this move? Best case scenario, the world sees how bad NBR is. Worst case, BRPD smokes some dude or beats someone’s arse and things go all Alton Sterling again.

Really in disbelief this was approved.

This is not going to end well one way or another.

Admitting there is an issue is a step in the right direction.

Too bad he will blame whitey for it.

Disagree. I think it lets the community see what the police actually deal with, and it builds better police/community relations.

Hell yes!

I've been watching a lot of arrest videos lately and awhile back I was thinking "I bet BRPD have some interesting arrest"..

I think its good to show people the bullshite the police deal with.

Live PD was fricking awesome. The Live PD threads on Friday night were money.
We tried to resurrect them but like OPL, it just wasn't the same. Classic WBR gif from those threads...

Agreed. There is a reason they’ve never been anywhere beyond the initial contract term. It is always a horrible look for the city.

Don’t believe it was season 1, but nothing tops the cop drop kicking the nekkid dude in Lafayette.

Yes! She is from Great Britain.
She was Mrs. Tennessee.

Kirsten Yule-Zaagman, a deputy with the Knox County Sheriff's Office, is originally from the United Kingdom and has been featured on the show "On Patrol: Live". She became a deputy in 2020 and is also the reigning Mrs. Tennessee America 2025.
