Imagine an America where a church service is forced to disperse at the threat of the National Guard on the order of a politician. Sounds more like some Nazi era shite. This mess has officially jumped the shark.

All selfish assholes

Ive heard two preachers bitching about not being able to get people to donate as much through any method as they donate in the offering bucket.

You've got to get that pan or bucket going around for all to see in rain, sleet, or shine.

For those that support the pastor...Im curious ...if this virus killed as high as say 20% of infected...would you still support his actions? Is it the perceived lack of danger and over reaction or under no circumstances would you support a shut down of church services no matter the number attending

Who’s going to arrest the national guard for adding more people to the mix? I mean, they’re literally making matters worse simply by showing up.

says police showed up at the church after the service telling him the National Guard would break up any future services with more than 50 people gathered
If true this shows the logical fallacy of the police.

Arrest, therefore detain, maintain the assembly of the more than 50 in a, or several, police stations/jails for processing for a non violent, non threatening, exercise of their Civil Rights. Which actions also medically threaten all the police involved and/or stationed at wherever they take the arrestees.

or

Have volunteer soldiers who swore an oath to Protect the Constitution including freedom to assemble, and freedom of speech, and freedom of religion, as well as swore to protect the citizens of the nation, and have them at force of gun with orders to either arrest or shoot said citizens exercising said rights peacefully and unarmed.

Yeah that ain't happening.

But it's not killing 20% of people, is it? Your hypothetical situation is dumb. Hey, what if clouds were really marshmallow fluff smears put there by God so everyone could reach up with butter knives, swipe some down and then make picnic sandwiches to share with the world? Huh? Would you eat your boring bologna sammiches then? Would you?

I not playing gotcha. Just trying to have an honest discussion. I'm sincerely curious of your thought process. Is it a personal freedom issue...regardless of the threat or do you feel this virus is just not that much of threat to justify limiting his congregation size...

Good for him. We shouldn’t so easily give up our constitutional rights in the hope of some sort of security. I’ll side with the constitution, not some politician and their bootlickers

When the laws start getting unconstitutional things change.

You’re a total dumbass. South Korea’s biggest cluster came from some wacko church that wouldn’t close when everyone else did. But yea let’s glorify this retard and pretend like he’s defending his “rights”. Which, btw only exist up to the point where you endanger other people.

Congregation size?

Bingo. Think of how many lives we could save if we banned cars. Why don't we do that?
