If true this shows the logical fallacy of the police.
Same news cycle had the sheriff of Ascension Parish letting non violent prisoners lose and then the EBR DA threatening to lock up church goers.

As I said yesterday, IDEOLOGY will always defeat science. People will run EVERYTHING through whatever their ideology is first, and that's pretty much it. It doesn't matter if it's Marx or Jesus, ideology turns humans into completely reactionary beings. They will take the social cues of their group, and behave accordingly-like these self-styled dissidents for Jesus who are absolutely positive they have the truth. It could be gathering to praise Jesus or joining the Twitter Prog mob with angry re-tweets or being a cynical small government contrarian muttering about government. In times of crisis people will revert to ideological form.

Your grandmother would prob take offense to how you view her intelligence or lack there of.
If what you say is true, that she doesnt know about Covid, then she should be in an institution. She isnt fit to live alone. Dont blame that on church or government, that falls on you and your family

I’m sure that’s what you will say when they try gun confiscation
Exactly. The same excuses of health and safety and preventing death are the ones liberals used to justify the removal of firearms from our society. And firearms kill way more people then this virus. In fact, there's a whole laundry list of things that kill way more people than this virus.
You either believe in liberty or you don't. It's not a negotiable proposition. Its the entire fricking basis of our country.

Well of course they will. It would be foolish not to follow ones ideas. If I believe something, I should act accordingly; it is inc9ngruent to act in a manner contrary to ones ideas. And that is the crux of this issue: governemnt trying to force everyone to act how it determines wise while roughly half think their actions are unwise.

Whatever happened to that time-honored axiom, "facts >> feelings"???

This is incorrect. It would be foolish to follow one's foolish ideas and wise to follow one's wise ideas. Just because you believe in any given thing, doesn't make it true or wise. It is not wise to walk off that bridge or store uranium in your home because you have that foolish idea and The State can prohibit your ability to do so. So while we value Individual Liberty above all else, we also understand that your freedom ends at the beginning of my nose. And infectious disease is where that becomes intertwined. It's why we have given The State the legal authority to quarantine for any number of things.

the National Guard would break up any future services with more than 50 people gathered. Spell says 305 people attended the service in the sanctuary Tuesday night.
The National Guard should show up.. but to make sure no one leaves.. let Darwin do his work at the Church/Hospital Pastor Spell is running.

How you gonna tell churchgoers they cant exercise their Constitutional rights of freedom of religion and freedom of assembly yet let plenty of non essential businesses remain open?
The fact that many of you see nothing wrong with this is actually quite scary.

Non essential businesses have gone to a different business model just as the church needs to go to a different church model. Its to prevent the fricking spread. It's not that hard to understand. All they are doing is prolonging this crap if they start spreading it.

Some have.
There's still plenty of places where people are piling in and spreading germs around though.
