So essentially what they’re saying is it’s a lost cause and we should just give up and stop groaning about it? Because it’s too bad and coming too soon to realistically do something about it, if they’re correct.
Well no, quite the opposite actually

For the 21st century, this range will be smaller than assessed before: on the high-end of the range, the CMIP6 high emission levels (quantified by SSP5-8.5) have become implausible, based on trends in the costs of renewables, the emergence of climate policy and recent emission trends.
They are essentially saying that renewables becoming cheaper and climate policy becoming more popular, the high end scenarios have become implausible, meaning they are projecting more renewables and more climate policy into the future, which reduces the high end modeling of global temperature increase of 3.9 C to 3.0 C

What if the climate change was wrong and all we ended up with is clean air, water and land?
I would be ok with that.
I would be ok with that.

Did he! And what's crazy I remember reading in Freakanomics how much bullshite global warming is.. Some people have argued with me that the second book of Freakanomic isn't a good source to argue that its all bullshite, but I remember back in middle school when they started having "Earth Day" and they wanted kids from all over to draw and color a picture of what Earth Day meant to us and it was some state thing where they were going to pick one person's picture to be the logo or some shite.. That's when the whole recycling thing started.
I remember a rep from a recycling company coming talk to use and and throwing out a bunch of bullshite "At the rate we are going, in 25 years water will be a scarce resource". I remember asking the dude will it start raining less in the future because if all the drinkable water starts to dry up, at the very least rain would be a source of water and he was all like "well we are trying to prevent getting to the point where we only depend on rain for drinking water".
Then they told us that because of the need for paper it would get to a point where there would be no more trees to make paper.. blah blah that's why it has to be recycled. But I just remember some of the stuff seemed like complete horse shite. Then as I got older, I realized that nothing is rarely done simply because its what's best for everyone, its done because there is money behind it.

Not coming from ‘renewables’.
A solar farm that creates as much power as a natural gas fired plant would be 60,000 acres.

What makes them renewable?
Old fiberglass wind turbines are chopped up and buried in a hole.

So the science was not, in fact, settled?

Although there is a chance for severe weather here tomorrow, Alabama just went through its first full month of April in Lord knows how long (20 years or more?) without a single tornado warned area.

Most narcissistic scam of the 21st century by far.

PJ Media is your link? Go ask the fisherman in the Atlantic and Pacific. They will tell you the waters are warming. The fisherman in Ireland will tell you.
Did you just dismiss someone for posting an article then in the same breath counter with suggesting to ask fisherman for an ancedotal answer?
Holy shite. Look in the mirror.

You linked an article by a climate change denier and the IPCC report he is referencing is from 2021. Where is this new report?

Memory unlocked! We were all gonna die if we didn’t turn off the faucet while we brushed our teeth!
I will say I am a fan of the three R's... reduce, reuse, recycle. Except I think most recycling is BS.. reducing and reusing is good though.

Sounds good, but can you post a link from a reliable source, bro?

Only need to read the headline to see that your source may have a political agenda
