Anybody else just refreshing and laughing?

I must have missed it in your 50+ melts in this thread

I guess it's bad I'm more familiar with bad bunny than him.
I'm 61. I had seen some of Charlie Kirk's debates, or at least clips, so I knew of him. Bad Bunny? No clue. But then again, I still listen to Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Daryl Hall, Steely Dan, etc. So pretty clueless on last few decades of music with a few exceptions. Different strokes and all. If a few billion downloaded him, wtf, he must be doing something.
To make everyone else in here feel better about their masculinity, I did have a brief guilty pleasure of listening to Harry Styles a few years ago. And yes, that makes me feel like I imagine Mikelbr feels in a romantic relationship.

Weird. You seemed so sure of yourself the previous post.

I think most of us sung along to that Watermelon song. It was catchy.

you listed two bands, one being one of the best selling bands of all time. very cool.

Whew. Thanks for saying that. That m'fer reeled me in hook, line, and sinker. I went around the house singing that at the top of my lungs, in my SO's face every time I passed her, and it pissed her off.

I love that song. Probably my favorite along with Monaco

I hope he doesn't sing one word of English.

Do you like pop music? Do you think having a highly downloaded song means its quality?
No, I don't think having a highly downloaded song means it is quality.
But I do think it means the song and the performer are popular with the masses. It means that person is a good choice for halftime entertainer to maximize viewership of what is already the most watched TV broadcast in America.
Michelob Ultra is the best selling beer in America. Does that make it the best? Hell no! But it appeals to more people than any other brand. To me, it tastes like flavored water. I prefer IPAs.
But if I was throwing a party and wanted to maximize attendance, would I be better off advertising that Michelob Ultra was on the house, or an IPA?
Link to story about Michelob Ultra.

Probably because its not in a language the majority of the US speaks. I feel like that is kind of important.
Unless they are trying to attract a larger number of the Spanish speaking population of the world to become NFL fans.
They've already tapped out the English-speaking market.

Yup. Latino money is just as green as white or black money.
Personally I don’t see why white people keep giving them money.

I can speak only for the Boomer generation. We grew up alongside the NFL, making it the most popular spectator sport in America. We were also relatively affluent.
Guys like Pete Rozelle and Lamar Hunt understood demographics, the power of television for advertising, and targeted their marketing toward us.
Think about it. They changed Sunday in America from being "church day" to being NFL day. And auto, insurance, clothing and beer companies jumped on board.
Our influence is now dwindling as we age out of the high spending demographic. Boomers will continue to watch because we are a locked-in fan base. But we no longer make purchasing decisions based on what NFL advertisers are trying to sell us.
The NFL needs to attract younger, and more diverse, demographics, because all of us Boomers will be dead soon.

I'm pretty sure viewership numbers increase during the period the halftime show is on versus for the actual game time itself.
Did you like the halftime from the last Super Bowl?

Umm... huh? Divorce is actually a sign of being able to attract women?
Seems like that's more a sign of not being able to keep the woman you attracted.
