Can't agree with you here. Plenty of businesses have been very vocal in their support of all this nonsense.

I can assure you it is not “plenty”. You just hear the vocal ones. I haven’t worn a mask in weeks inside anywhere

Can y'all take the restaurant reviews to the F & D Board? I'd like to keep this thread reserved for bashing Teedy, Avegno the Troll, and the populace of NOLA who wants more governing.

Just trying to soften the blow of stupidity; happy to bash LaToya though...odds she just "fights" COVID this entire term while getting lined up for whatever cushy gig is waiting her?

I'm very interested to see what the compliance level will be here this time around.

I don't know of any place that has tried to enforce it absent the city or state mandates.

There are certainly places that seem to be more gleeful in enforcing those than others, when they can. Probably a lot of overlap with those who seem to enjoy the vax mandate deal.

I'm also really curious to see if she will keep this shite in place through Mardi Gras.

Omicron will be almost completely gone within 2 weeks.

After seeing the Twelfth Night parades/bars enforcing any mandate is going to just be hilarious.

It would be depending on the restaurant/store “caring”. I would bet the compliance W/o asking is going to be really low.

JP implemented masks in parish buildings including JPRD gyms. The first night some people listened but after that basically nobody did bc nobody cared and nobody was enforcing.

Piece of Meat is another.

And when you say commies, they are pretty damn close to all being actual communists. So weird for business owners to be like that.

The mandate sucks, but so does JP food. It’s not the businesses fault

i guess food just tastes better on the correct side of the parish line...

The Advocate will do whatever it can to perpetuate this charade, which most likely will consist of mischaracterizing facts/data to support continued mandates.

We went over this with you last time we had this thread.

JP will never touch the atmosphere and history and sheer number of great places to eat that OP offers, but the notion that JP has shite food or no where worth going is asinine and makes you look stupid.

This was put in effect after the Saints were booted and will probably be repealed before most of the MG balls (assuming the wave is lower).

I am just really curious if she will keep it in place like...two weeks to when Omicron is just totally gone and no one will give two fricks...

Or try to string this out through Mardi Gras.

I've pretty much completely written off these three since all the shite started. And I actually always liked Dan and Adolfo, despite knowing how wacked they were politically. Their shite with this stuff is just too much for me to possibly think about paying someone to endure.

Other than Adolfo, they're all transplant interlopers too... bringing trash hipster politics here.
