People like Turkey and the Wolf have a privilege that many, many other restaurants don't have. They've been named #1 by Bon Appetit magazine, they've won numerous awards, they've been featured in tons of food shows. On top of that, they have a loyal NOLA following chocked with people who share their beliefs, and they're so popular that people who are apathetic to politics will happily go.
This place is so fricking bad and it has 0 to do with their politics

By that logic, you voted for Biden overwhelmingly
What about the logic of just getting vaccinated so everything will go back to normal?
How’s that working out for you?

I can only imagine the glee on r/neworleans over this.

There’s multiple threads and about 90% of the response is people shitting on Latoya

Louisiana is at 50% vaccination, so that didn't happen.
Regardless it wouldn't have worked out anyway.

Actually you’d be surprised. A lot are criticizing this based on the timing.

That's surprising and encouraging. Maybe they're finally waking up.
I liked the thread from the past couple of days with people shitting on some house on Chestnut for having too large of a yard.

In general though I’m begging for something with a kickass outdoor set up and possibly has music of some kind.
JP is begging for something like that. If someone did it right, with a similar set up to Bacchanal or even a Tchoup Yard, it would kill.
the problem is finding a location where the neighborhood will let you do it, that's in a relatively accessible location, and wouldn't be totally price prohibitive.

The few people who are pointing out the hypocrisy are downvoted, go figure.
These dimwits are well on their way to gaslighting the rest of us and either [a] pretending they've always known XYZ about Covid, or [b] claim "well we didn't know back then what we know now".

So you do not like good food.
You like douchey atmosphere and phony "NOLA culture" that is a laughable caricature of something that sort of existed a few decades ago when Orleans parish still had some level of authenticity.
Got it.

New Orleans is at 76.4%, with 87.3% receiving at least one dose. How much compliance is needed for your plan to work?

Oh really? Why’s that?

Agreed. The arrogant Nola faux foodsnob attitude is really annoying. Just think how big of an absolute tool one has to be to think they are "too good" to eat dinner in a neighboring parish.
