One would hope more accurate reporting of the data.

The answer to this question may be rooted in demographics.

It’s not as hot in Arizona as it is in La so they can stay outside away from one another

This doesn't matter whatsoever.

We will have these restrictions for at least another 12 months. We're going to see tens thousands of businesses fold due to the government.

switching to reporting the numbers to Trump's appointed HHS official made an immediate impact on them dropping in red states

Was there a recent election in Arizona that has affected these numbers?

Nothing

This rise in hospitalizations for Arizona started the week of May 21st

Louisiana's current rise in hospitalizations started on June 22nd

So we are a month behind arizona on hospitalizations climbing.

Their descent started on 7/21, two months after their climb. So, we have til 8/26 to "be as good as AZ"

I peronally think we will actually descent before that date

Houston just had its lowest day for hospital admissions in a month. Positivity rate is also down to 16.5%

Encouraging trend. Hopefully in like 2 or 3 weeks we can be getting close to where we were before the spike

Most of their population in one area.
Louisiana more spread out.

NOLA got hit.

This go around rest of state got it.

Same pattern seen elsewhere.

Look at the convexity of that rate change

IDK, but headline in DFW this morning: “Texas changes method of reporting Covid-19 deaths” Texas DHHS starting this week will only report Covid deaths where the death certificate lists Covid-19 as the actual cause of death.

Sort of makes you wonder how they’ve been reporting them for the past 5 months!?!

The peak was happening anyway. Just like it does in every city, state, and country.

This is why I disagreed with trumps timing on switching from the cdc. Just let it reach the peak then take over from the cdc. Now the libtards are going to try to say he is manipulating the data. Don’t even give them that opportunity.
