Thanks. Alabama’s median salary is 64,500;
It’s mean salary is 46,400

Considering minimum wage to $10 an hour is the entry level for many jobs, families must be working more than one job or shift and folks doing the survey figured out a way to capture supplemental income.

After the GF graduates, we would be 4 times the average of our state. After we factor in student loans, we’ll probably be below average

We do most of that in Alabama at $130k/year. Well, we take a big vacation every year.

Though life is going to change soon when the $1600/month of daycare costs go away.
