Diane and WAFB better jump out in front of this thing soon, because it's picking up steam and if they continue to "ignore" the story, assumptions are going to be made by the Greater Baton Rouge viewers.
someone needs to hop on an online timeline (story) creator and put a timeline together of the collected CoA Corruption.
apparently this is one of the better online timeline makers: WhenInTime

No doubt about it. That new budget was going to be paying for bus rides to the polls and chicken and jamabalaya dinners after.

That's fraud.
IF they actually worked the hours, it MAY not be fraud for FEMA/feds
it would be more of a state issue, with the COA, once again, violating its own rules. the COA, its charter, it's powers, etc are under state law
we should create a running list of potential issues by state and federal law
the electioneering issues? federal (may not be criminal as much as an IRS issue where they could lose nonprofit status) and possibly state (i'm not up to date on state laws related to elections, but i can imagine what they did violated something)
the possible FEMA fraud? federal
changing the COA bylaws? state
the conflict involving the will? state
misappropriation of funds, bad management (bingo hall), and dedicating too much of their funds to salaries? public policy more than a legal issue

they can't keep ignoring it if we keep asking them why they're ignoring it
hell somebody could just make a FB page: "Why is WAFB ignoring the EBR COA story?" and invite a bunch of BR people to the page and show every story by other outlets and the radio silence from WAFB. if i wasn't really busy, i'd do it

i hope at the end of all this they have to clock in clock out manually like most state jobs

i'd be very careful throwing out direct allegations, considering how litigious Tarsha has been

How fricking Rad would it be to see Nakamoto run a story on Diane Deaton being on the Board and WAFB's lack of coverage?
Or would that be career-suicide?
Would he ever work in news again?

It's like they've taken the long history of Louisiana political corruption and simplified, or dumbed it down, if you will
Posted on 5/10/17 at 9:12 am to SlowFlowPro
And all this shite started because Clark wanted that extra $500 a month

it is kind of funny to think about this in terms of alternative history. the audit was coming no matter what, but it would just be another "oh Baton Rouge" story i'd imagine. the fact that Nak made TCA a villain prior to this audit really did just create a major snowball effect

Nah, that was just another layer of the onion.
This audit was commissioned before all that took place.
