So is tonight the council meeting where they will hold the vote on not giving the COA the $80MM? Is that why they're trying to call for a protest?

No, they can't vote on that for another month because the retards walked out during the last vote. They're demanding the two cops be fired despite the fact that only half the investigation is complete.

Way too many people defending the COA very hard.
even though i lived in BR for 7 years i didn't know anything about the political machines of the area. this story has basically shined a light on a group of people who are very connected and using public money to fund friends/family
but i also believe the hayride's point that this funding is going to become one HUGE GOTV operation for the BR Dems, so it may not be a single group, but if there are more groups there are connections and overlaps. i would not be surprised to find out there are secret meetings with LA DEM party movers and shakers going on trying to figure out a way to control this message and do damage control (this audit may break the back of any of those attempts, though)
Gary is now pointing the finger at the consulting firm that has worked with many major DEM candidates in LA. the solidarity may be fracturing. that would required real genius level popcorn
