This is 100% correct. But it's also the path to losing principles. And once that's happened, then the right is just the left.
That and emotions win, that's why conservatives always lose. Emotions will ALWAYS win. that's what we have to try and stop. Otherwise this gets worse and worse.

Kimmel is one of the most vocal hypocrites instilling hate in america. I hate cancel culture as much as anyone but the only way to stop all this bullshite going on is for them to turn on their most vocal celebrities.

I hear a couple of people who keep saying this, but Kimmel was actually on his show recently (a late-night "comedy talk show") pleading with people to vote Trump out of office like he has a political show or something (after he said he didn't want to make it about Trump). He should get cancelled not because he said the N-word
repeatedly or wore blackface , but because he has forgotten what his job is - to make people laugh. Then again, there would be very few late-night hosts if that standard was applied across the board.

Well, either the blackface or this is a something burger to someone because hosts usually take off for 2 weeks toward the back half of the summer, not the whole summer and the beginning of fall after abruptly announcing it. I had to laugh reading that he said that he just wanted to spend more time with his family even though he has been doing shows at home for months due to COVID and has only taken off significant time from his show when his child had major health issues in 2017. It ain't a coincidence.
