That was pretty intriguing and the evidence definitely makes sense

That doesn't explain my question. You can only tell what you are looking at from high altitude. So how would the Egyptians have described it in such detail
Oral tradition, writings, maps.
Ancient civilizations didn't need to fly to figure shite out.

Only thing missing is ruins.

Found a natural spring on fresh water in the center island of the eye of the Sahara
Just like Plato wrote
Also found red, black, and white stones scattered in the area just as he wrote
It also opens up to the ocean from the south just as he wrote and evidence shows a giant tsunami blocked it off
And didn't Plato claim he heard about it while on a trip to Egypt? The Sahara is close to Egypt so I guess those baws would know.
(I still don't believe it, though).

I always love how people find this stuff by literally using the descriptions and the history given. It happens time and time again after people just speculate their locations. Happened with Troy and Jericho. All they had to do was trust the source material. Same thing happened here apparently.

I have never understood why this is so interesting to people. Plato was either creating an allegory, or he heard about a city getting destroyed by a hurricane and then tried to explain it in a way that was familiar. It's really not that insane either way

Is this proof of Kangs?

Problem is that Plato clearly said Atlantis was sunk under the ocean and that it was located "beyond the pillars of Hercules" which was the ancient Greek lingo for the straight of Gibraltar. (i.e. the Atlantic ocean).
The prevailing two theories by most serious people who have studied this is Atlantis, if it existed, was likely either Santorini or Pompeii. Both of those cities were destroyed by volcanoes and we have evidence to prove it in both cases. Pompeii especially is a good candidate. There's people still frozen in the ash there and the time frame matches up.

I watched video, I’m in. Where do I send my money? They really were kangs.

Idk if anybody has pointed this out or not, but in that gif, those people are black and Atlantis is supposedly under water...anybody find that kinda unbelievable?

The guy who did the video has three of them in total. Every question you just asked is directly addressed.

Why hasn't Ancient Aliens been all over this, like they were with Gobekli Tepi? It doesn't look like a new discovery or theory. You'd think AA would have spotlighted it by now.

Graham Hancock and Rogan need to do a podcast on this find.

Pompeii destruction came after Plato and nowhere fits the description given either. Also it’s pretty interesting that Herodotus’ map in 460 BC puts Atlantis in the same location. Another interesting thing is that the name of Atlantis comes from the mythological King Atlas (Atlas mountains named after) ... who so happened to be the king Mauretania.
I’m not saying this place actually existed(though I’m starting to think it did in this place), but it’s very easy for an ancient to see this and believe it was a giant ancient city and create a story about it.

They didn't need them, but they had them. The aliens that built the pyramids told them about Atlantis because they flew over it in their spacecraft.

It’s always better to have something and not need it. That’s way the government can take 40-46% and give it to people who don’t have jobs or citizenship.
Anyway, who cares? What’s the big frickin deal about Plato or Atlantis?
frick dem
