If it was checked out and all they found was a big hill, that’s not making the news. This article would be the last we would hear about it. That’s probably the case here.

Not sure on the depth of this object, but the titanic is about 12,500 feet down. For comparison’s sake, the farthest an underwater vehicle has gone is about 35,000.
I’m sure they’ll scramble a sub down there eventually, but you’re talking about a multimillion dollar expedition.

Hell, the Great Pyramid in Giza is only 756 feet across and we have no idea how they did that.

Slave labor and a complex system of pulleys and water dynamics. I believe the commonly believed theory is that they floated the rocks by using a lock and canal system that coincided with the stages of the Nile/rainy season.

He is indeed the man!
He was my son's childhood hero. As a toddler he read and knew everything about Dr Ballard. My son would have just about died if he got the chance to meet him. As a teacher , my students loved him as well.

a company I worked for was a sponsor for his educational programs, and I volunteered in Birmingham to do live QA's with him and his crew on various expeditions across the globe.
