ESPN would sell a bundle package, I’d pay $25/ month for it and never look back. I don’t watch anything else.

$50/month for YouTubeTV and use your YouTube login for the ESPN app. Not $25 but close enough to not have directv

The second they get broadband at my place in BFE East Feliciana, I'm done with them.

I'd switch to dish, but I get enough bundle and other discounts for having at&t unlimited cell service, it's not worth it.

True. A lot of business do this. As the customers have fallen off, they figure the ones left are loyal. So exploit them for more profit to make up for the loses.

Lots of business have taken that model. It is also a means of staying in business. At times, not as much of a want as it is a necessity for a business that is dying due to competition or new technology like the satellite industry

We have UVerse with HBO/SHO/ESPN and all the 300 or so channels that bundle with those.

We actually watch local news, ESPN, NatGeo and Smithsonian, hunting and fishing channels plus gardening shows for the wife (no pics). Some car related and other shows are interesting, mostly when football is done for the year.

So, we need about 20 channels and for that with 2 receivers it's gone to nearly $300 a month. That's a car or boat note.

The UVerse online account has an option to reconfigure and drop services. I'll try that see how low we can get while keeping what we want, and see if the phone rings.

But I think it's just a matter of time until we move to streaming.

I'm building a house where ATT ran the fiber, but I'm not going with DTV, just their internet and stream from there.

When does the NFL grow up and launch a streaming service or a la cart package?

Sunday Ticket is like hospice for DTV

The house got re-roofed last weekend so they took the DirecTV dish off the house (just in time for the Championship Game) We signed up with YouTube TV, and Monday we called DirecTV up and said thank you we're done.

When u verse first came out I was impressed. Then when AT&T started selling DirecTV and "encouraging" u verse subscribers to switch, I thought okay.

Trash. 100 percent. Cut the cord and never looking back. How they still have customers even with their mobile features is beyond me.

Anyone know of a cheap supplemental service to get A&E, History and Lifetime(for the wife, no pics). I'd rather go to YTTV but I watch a decent amount of those channels they don't offer.

I actually went back to cable when I moved. Went with cox and I’m only paying $20 more a month than I was with Vue and internet due to bundling.
