Major under reported and continuous outage, crickets from ATT as to restoration time. Also slow to provide information as to causation and correction.

1+1 = 2

Worth noting a lot of the downdetector reports from other carriers (Not ATT) could be people trying to reach ATT numbers that were/are down. No issues with Verizon here in Nola.

My wife’s phone won’t call out but mine seems to be working fine.

Based on the sample size of the 40 people I work with half do not have service and that’s across multiple providers.

So this is just a little taste of the ensuing EMP/CME?

Literally nobody can verify or provide any proof/indication that its linked to cyberattack. It's laughable how old and senile most of these users are on this site.

Outage occurred at 3am. I’m reading it was likely a failed deployment of a maintenance update

We haven't had issues here in north AL. This has been a weird one.

That is likely the case as there are more than 10x the number of reports about at&t as there are for verizon and tmo combined.

What

It has to be several times that correct?

it has to be. Pretty shitty reporting by several news organizations running with that number.

The expectations for AT&T to give a shite enough to provide details and guidance are unrealistic. There was a major Uverse TV outage a few weeks back with people across the country losing service......crickets from AT&T.

They're a God-forsaken shithile of a company that will always find ways to one-up their own frick ups. That is is the AT&T way.

My question is if it were an outage why is it only affecting some people and not everyone? We all have iPhones with eSIM in my household on ATT and half work while half doesn’t.

It’s weird. Phone only receives calls from good customers today.

It's like someone within ATT got mad at the boss and deleted rows 450699 to 56784093 sim card data. Everyone else is fine.

We did this to ourselves people. We’ve spent decades making ourselves vulnerable. Now the chickens are finally coming home to roost.

The Dallas Cowboys play in AT&T Stadium. Both go hand-in-hand. Neither do anything well and are always screwing shite up.
