Good stuff and I have some of it. For this question I’m referring to drive in blinds on public land so artificial material isn’t an option

Roseau Cane for Blinds

I know there were rules (or at least strong suggestions) in place ~7-8 years ago regarding cutting Roseau to use for blinds in South LA because of the cane scale killing off patches around Venice and elsewhere. I know the concern with the scale seems to have faded and we understand it better. I definitely see cane used to build blinds in Venice. Wondering if the rules have relaxed and whether anyone on this board is aware of any enforcement by LDWF regarding using cane to build blinds. Thanks in advance

Order placed - thank you!
For board’s reference I used mine on their workwear site and it did the trick
Couldn’t agree more - we’ve got Veterans Day. Today is about honoring and remembering our war dead. I’d also include the many combat veterans who die by suicide.
Latest episode in this saga - rescue lady #1 has decided to keep the dog, despite having agreed to let rescue lady #2 adopt. Sure the fight over who gets to imprison the dog will be entertaining.
Also witnessed sleet. A little earlier than predicted but definitely there.
Missed out on that last round! Hackbetd@gmail.com if anyone else has a code. Much appreciated

Worth noting a lot of the downdetector reports from other carriers (Not ATT) could be people trying to reach ATT numbers that were/are down. No issues with Verizon here in Nola.

Look up rodent excluders - relatively cheap. Solves the problem of them dying inside. Find the hole they are using, install the excluder which is basically a one way gate that lets them out but not back in. If there are multiple holes fix all but one and install the excluder on the last one.

I have run Grand Pass - and was thinking Zin Zin looked pretty clean based on satellite, but wanted to make sure as I know depths can vary a lot and quickly with the river’s influence

Venice GPS track

Figured this would be a good spot to ask - is anyone here willing to share a GPS track from Grand Pass to the first spillway off SWP? (Across Zin Zin bay) Just got back from a fishing trip down there and had someone describe the route. Just looking for a backup when the river gets rough. Thanks in advance.

Arteryx is my recommendation. I have had a couple of their rain shells and never had an issue. Exceptionally well made and make great use of various gore Tex membranes. If you don’t find one they make in budget the precip jacket mentioned above is solid also.

I, personally, love shower head. I recommend it to everyone I talk to.
Similar experience here - Banff was incredible. Jasper was very cool as well and actually I preferred it in atmosphere. We went early so some of the lakes were frozen over. Personally I’d go back early again as you beat the crowds.
