Does the stolen content include dick pics? Asking for a friend.

AT&T hackers stole all customers calls and texts records
I would have been happy to sell my data to them for $10.

Am I the only one who’s thinking the bigger concern is ATT keeping recordings of all our phone calls and storing all of our private texts?

“Hackers” would be a nice 4th Amendment work around…
Not that they don’t record every phone call, text message, keystroke, and eye movement on the planet anyway, but “hackers” circumvents the “need a warrant to look at it” requirement.
And even if the warrants are rubber stamped (FISAs are approved at a roughly 97% clip), “hackers” means there wouldn’t even be a record of a warrant request.

In its statement, AT&T said the compromised data doesn't include the content of the calls
I get that content of text mesg. But... Is there a possibility of calls being transcribed to text/recorded?
This is like that new Salesforce ad where they say.." we will never steal (or sell) your data"
Why even mention it unless it's a possibility and you are trying to assure people that that didn't happen

Anybody who has actually looked at phone records knows that the contents are not included. Generally, it shows the caller/sender and recepient, the date and time. Think about how much storage would be required to save the contents.
This why Feds are other law enforcement will "wire tap" phones. It allows them to record the calls when they occur.

So it’s a list of everyone’s number and every other number it communicated with during a 6 month period?
Once that shite hits the dark web all hell is gonna break loose. Imagine knowing everyone anyone you know has talked to. Divorce lawyers finna eat!

at&t owns and operates the largest data center that NSA uses to monitor everything. We know the NSA has it all. Since they use AT&T to get most of it, yes it is safe to assume AT&T keeps all their customer stuff and intercepts everything that passes through their backbone fiber network supporting practically everyone on the net.

The government has access to the content of every phone call, text message, and email you've sent over the past 20+ years.
Do you wonder why everyone in government seems "compromised"?

Yeah mine areusually texts about what we want for dinner or do we have plans for xx weekend cause I want to go deep sea fishing.
They would be bored as hell reading my texts.
And the pictures are mostly of my dogs doing stupid things like trying to walk into the house with a 12' limb.
